The National Council for Women (NCW), headed by Judge Amal Ammar, with all its members, permanent committees, technical secretariat, and branches across all governorates of Egypt, and on behalf of the Egyptian women, announce their full support for all measures taken by the Egyptian State to protect Egyptian and Arab national security, and to stand against the forced displacement of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip and their resettlement in Sinai.
The NCW affirms that this constitutes a liquidation of the Palestinian cause, which is the cause for the entire Arab nation. It emphasizes that both Egyptian national security and Sinai are red lines, and there will be no compromise on this matter.
The NCW affirms its support, respect, and deep appreciation for the resilience of the great Palestinian women, their immense contributions, and their boundless sacrifices.
The NCW rejects any plans aimed at displacing them from the land that was nurtured with the blood of the Palestinian women’s daughters, sons, and family members.
This displacement violates all international treaties, agreements, norms, and humanitarian values. It constitutes a war crime, ethnic cleansing, and collective punishment against the Palestinian people, who are the rightful owners of the land.
The NCW emphasizes that there is no solution to the Palestinian cause except for the two-State solution. It rejects and condemns the policy of displacement or any attempts to liquidate the Palestinian cause at the expense of neighboring countries.
It reaffirms that Egypt’s national security is a red line, and there will be no compromise in protecting it.
