The Lebanon Cinema Days in Canada festival is marking its 10th anniversary with a special celebration of Lebanese cinema and talent across three Canadian cities: Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto.
The festivities will officially kick off in Montreal on September 17 with a grand opening ceremony celebrating the achievements of Lebanese artists and filmmakers.
The evening will feature a Lifetime Achievement Award honoring renowned Lebanese actor and filmmaker Georges Khabbaz, while actress Stéphanie Atala will also receive an award in recognition of her work. The event will include a special artistic appearance by Zef, with Nisrine Zawahra the Master of Ceremonies.
The celebration will then continue in Ottawa on September 25 and Toronto on September 27, offering audiences the opportunity to walk the red carpet, meet special guests and enjoy a screening of the film LOVELY DAY, starring Georges Khabbaz, Hiam Abou Chedid and a talented ensemble cast.
The three events will bring together cinema lovers, artists and members of the Lebanese community for evenings featuring red-carpet moments, cocktails, entertainment, tributes, photographs and opportunities to meet festival guests.
As Lebanon Cinema Days in Canada celebrates a decade of promoting Lebanese cinema and culture, the festival invites everyone to come together and celebrate Lebanese talent, creativity and pride in Canada.
