In light of the regrettable ongoing military escalation in the region, the State Information Service (SIS) urges accredited correspondents of foreign media in Egypt to rely, regarding all matters related to Egypt’s position on this escalation, on the official statements and announcements issued by the Presidency of the Republic, the Cabinet, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and other state authorities—each within its respective mandate.
The SIS also calls on all accredited foreign media personnel in Egypt to maintain accuracy and diligence in their reporting on Egypt and its stance toward these highly important and sensitive developments.
The SIS welcomes any inquiries from foreign media correspondents concerning Egypt during this crisis, through its Foreign Press Center, in order to facilitate transferring such queries to the relevant authorities and providing the necessary clarifications.
